How Ricazza uses browser storage

Ricazza-owned browser storage supports requested features and a more consistent browsing experience.

• Ricazza local storage records privacy choices, language, display currency, and other requested interface preferences until the user clears browser data or the stored version is replaced.
• Session storage remembers temporary result layout, scroll, and page state until the browser session ends.
• Firebase authentication and Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise/App Check may use browser storage needed for account access, security, fraud prevention, and protected requests.
• PostHog analytics uses browser identifiers and storage only after Analytics is accepted. It measures page views and selected product events. Session replay is disabled during the beta.
• Sentry browser error and performance monitoring starts only after Analytics is accepted. Server-side reliability and security logging does not depend on browser consent.

Third-party technologies

Third-party services may use cookies, local storage, session storage, device identifiers, or similar technologies under their own rules.

• Google Maps may process technical and map-request data when maps are shown.
• Stripe may use checkout storage and process transaction data when a seller starts checkout or opens billing tools.
• YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds may process technical data when listing videos are loaded or played.
• Vercel, Google Cloud/Firebase, Algolia, PostHog, and Sentry may process technical data for hosting, search, security, analytics, and service reliability according to the choices and purposes described here.

Consent choices

Ricazza may use strictly necessary storage without asking for separate consent because it is needed to provide the service. Where law requires consent for analytics, personalization, marketing, or other optional technologies, Ricazza asks for consent before using those technologies and lets users update choices.

Controls

Users can reopen Privacy choices at any time. Turning Analytics off stops future PostHog and browser Sentry capture and clears the active PostHog browser identity. Users can also clear browser storage or block cookies in browser settings. Some blocking may break authentication, maps, seller tools, checkout, saved preferences, or security checks.
